Welcome to our internal job site. We are committed to developing our internal talent and so the majority of posts will be advertised internally before being open to external candidates. The standard process is for posts to be advertised in redeployment and internally concurrently, however those members of staff that are at risk of redundancy and on the Council’s redeployment register will be considered first.
We welcome applications via our internal job site from Enfield Council employees and agency workers presently engaged by Enfield Council. For a list of vacancies open to all, please go to www.jobs.enfield.gov.uk
Secondment opportunities are also only open to Enfield Council employees. They are the temporary loan of an employee from one part of the organisation to another part of the organisation and rely on the secondee to return to their substantive position on completion of the secondment. In order to be eligible to apply for a secondment, Council employees must have completed probation and must have discussed the proposed secondment with their line manager.
Once you have entered your search criteria below and selected 'search and apply', there will be an option to register for e-mail alerts for future positions.
Apprentices must have completed their qualification in order to apply for a vacancy via this site.
Salaries advertised are for full time work. Employees who work part time, either less than 36 hours per week or less than 52 weeks per year, will have their salary adjusted proportionately. At Enfield we value flexible working and encourage applications from candidates who would like to work part time or with flexible arrangements such as job sharing, term time only and compressed hours. These arrangements are subject to the individual service needs.
We do not see your name or title when shortlisting your application. This is one of many initiatives to build a more talented and diverse workforce. However, if you put your name on your CV or Work History form, it will be visible to us. For this reason, we ask that you do not include your name on these documents. Please note it is your responses to the Essential/Desirable criteria that will determine if you are shortlisted for an interview, therefore we encourage you to always address each application question fully.
